Health Insurance Assistance

The Ramber Wellness Program can help students and their families enroll in Medicaid/Healthy Kids or MIChild. MIChild is a health insurance program for uninsured children ages 0- 19 at a price you can afford (Blue Cross coverage for all children in a family for $10/month). Healthy Kids is free health care coverage for pregnant women, babies, and children under age 19.

The focus is on prevention, as well. The choices students make about alcohol, drug, and tobacco use, eating and physical activity, and personal relationships stay with them the rest of their lives. The Rambler Wellness Program staff are devoted to promoting healthy choices for students. Our mission is to offer students services with a focus on preventive health and reduction of risk behaviors, removing barriers to students' academic success, and promoting health and fitness now and in the future.
